An honorable invitation to IDW’19, November 27-29 Sapporo

Etulipa is invited to speak on the leading International Display Workshop ’19 in Sapporo. The Program Committee has selected Etulipa “based on their distinguished contribution to the display science and technologies”.

Our vice President Doeke Oostra will speak about the development of full-color displays and why this matches the intrinsic characteristics of the Electro Wetting Display technology. The presentation of Etulipa will be part of the Workshop on Electronic Paper. The Chairman of this workshop is Mr. K. Hashimoto of E Ink.

First Electro Wetting full color matrix panel

Doeke will speak about Reflective Electro-Wetting Displays for Out of Home Display Applications. Etulipa develops reflective digital displays for out of home advertisements using their Electro Wetting Display technology. The black and white character application for electronic changeable copy boards is tested in the field. A matrix panel has been developed for full-color displays. The panel has been designed for a seamless experience.

The full-color matrix panel is shown during the IDW’19.
